Public Libraries

Rudy Lozano Public Library

Rudy Lozano Branch is Pilsen’s neighborhood library. Located on the corner of 18th Street and Loomis, it offers computer and homework resources, along with Spanish-speaking materials.

Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers – Test Parent Resources

The PARCC assessments are designed to give schools and teachers more information to improve instruction. Moreover, PARCC is designed to let parents know how their child is progressing academically. The PARCC assessment will allow parents to engage in their child’s education by giving them more information about how their child is progressing in school.

Northwest Evaluation Association

The NWEA Parent Toolkit was created as a resource and guide for parents. It includes FAQs, tips for parents, and a list of websites for parents and kids.

The mission of ParentPowerChicago is to equip parents throughout the Chicagoland area with the information, inspiration, support and resources they need to help their children succeed in school and in life.
