Summer Stories from America SCORES Chicago

Sole Bravo Attends Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy

For the fourth year in a row, America SCORES Chicago poet/athletes are Champions! Our very own Giselle & Suzi, Ashley from Eli Whitney and Pilsen’s Sole come home Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy Inc. 2015 Champs! Congrats girls!

• The Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy combines a five-night, six-day residential Summer Sports Camp and a Leadership Academy for girls ages 12-18.
• The girls train with their respective sports and then we unite for the Leadership component. Half the day training and half the day doing fun, high energy leadership development.
• They have World Class role models, Olympic Gold Medalists, World Champions, and all around rockstars on staff every year!
• The aim of the JFSLA is to expose students to Julie’s great passion: the concept of not just being a leader on the field but a LEADER IN LIFE.

Summer Camp Fun

Pilsen Academy had 28 students come out to the 2 week America SCORES Summer Camp at Douglas Park where they learned new soccer skills, healthy habits, and worked as a team. The camp ended with a soccer scrimmage and picnic in the park.
