Pilsen Community Academy is in the heart of Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood. As one of the few transitional bilingual schools in the area, we provide our students with language support as they transition from their native language to English.
Over the years our students have continued to improve in reading and math, leading to our Level 1 status and positive acknowledgements from the mayor, alderman, network and CPS this year.
Along with a traditional academic curriculum, we recognize the importance of fine and performing arts in our students’ lives. As a magnet cluster school, we allow our students to tap into their creative sides and work along neighborhood art institutions such as the National Museum of Mexican Art.
